Many old people are Windows and widowers.Most of these people are poor & underprivileged and face many problems for their survival. The family System, Social values and Economic factors have been undergoing significant changes witch is not favorable to the Aged. The Aged are being neglected & humiliated. and some of them are starving and begging in the streets, Bus-Stands, Railway Stations, Market Places, etc. Throughout the country abandoned or killed. Some of the poor aged people spend their time in temples, verandas of community halls and church yards.
This nutritious meal has been sponsored by Mrs. CHITRA on the occasion of his in Memory of Late in OLD AGE CARE run by SERUDS Charity on 07-11-2019.
Therefore, interventions are needed in support of Aged people to lead a happy and dignified life till their last breath. we are supplying every day one time midday meal to 30 elderly persons aged between 60 to 90 years, who are being neglected and rejected by their own kith and kin.
