                                                     SERUDS ORPHANAGE

                                                              

    SERUDS opened an orphanage in Budhawarpeta in Kurnool in December 2012. Today there are 50 boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 18 in the children’s home. These orphaned, street children had a suicidal mother, an alcoholic father and a dead father. They may leave their children and marry another person, or both parents may die. At this critical stage these children appeared on the streets of Seruds or volunteers brought the children to Seruds Children's Home. We believe that these children will become traitors if they are not taken care of. We protect them and teach them safe shelter, educational assistance, counseling and cultural activities such as sports and games.

You are welcome to sponsor the education or living expenses of these abandoned orphans. If you are not in Kurnool, you can send your friends to our children's home to spend time with these children. Children think that someone cares about their future.

Donors are free to donate as much as they want, which can be used to run an orphanage. Today is the birthday 03-02-2021 "P. SRI TULASI GARU" celebrated with children. She gave a meal to the children on the occasion of her birthday. Family members also came with her. The children were very happy with their arrival. You can also celebrate your special day with the kids, sponsor health care or sponsor annual expenses for specific children. Also children can be helped with notebooks, school bags, uniforms, groceries, clothes. These child profiles and other funding options are available below.

here are 23 girls in the Seruds Orphanage. All of them are 6-18 years old. They are attending children’s public school and private school. All these children are from 2nd, 3rd class to Inter, Degree. Attending private school, public school and college. School fees, tuition fees, college fees are all provided by the Seruds Charity. The Seruds Charity also provides school uniforms, shoes and notebooks. The children are all in the orphanage.

 The children are all studying very well. There is also a Aya  to take the children to school. The child test percentage is over 75%. School grounds are near the ashram to play. Children are also playing their favorite games. Doing exercises as well. There are 2 computers for computer learning. There was a teacher to teach the computer. There is also a teacher to teach Morning and Evening tuition. There is a TV to watch on Saturday and Sunday. No gardening, No swimming. No library.

SWAMY REDDY NAGAR

My name is Razia Begum (age 56), my husband name is Chota Hussein (age 61). We are in Swami Reddy Nagar, Kurnool. We have three children. Two sons, one daughter is educated and the two sons are working as laborers. The money we earn is not even enough for our family. Every day the whole family continues to struggle. Suddenly on 04-01-2021 at 1:00 am the fire engulfed the entire hut at once. The whole hut was burned. The Rice, Dal, utensils, Clothes, kitchen utensils were all burnt. we have no house to stay in, groceries to eat a lot of trouble. Aware of their situation the Seruds organization delivered the items they needed. They are very happy.

Jai Krishna is a 2nd class student of Indira Gandhi Municipal Memorial High School. Jai Krishna Mother's name is Pushpavati, Father's name is Venkataramana. He native place is Jupadu bangla.  Venkataramana is a laborer who earns enough to drink all the money he earns. They have five children. Pushpavati works hard to feed them. But her earnings were not enough. In addition, they live in a rented house. Debts were made to educate children. But now the children who could not pay their debts stopped in the middle of their studies. Jai Krishna is the youngest of five children. The rest go to work only when they find work, and the rest of the day they fast. Mother is struggling to pay her current bill and rent. Donate food  for poor children.  Jai Krishna's mother saw the scrolling on TV and came to know the address and talked to the owner of SERUDS company and enrolled her two children in the orphanage so that the future of the children would be better. Have you spared a thought as to how they survive how do they get food and shelter for the cold nights? Most sleep in pavements and survive on alms, neglected by their family.

If a poor and destitute old person is provided at least one wholesome meal in a day, she has a chance to face the challenges of her hard life. Seruds has conducted surveys around Kurnool and identified many such elders who need help. Most are homeless, or live in huts but do have means to cook. Under this program, with our limited resources, we provide nutritious midday meals to 30 poor old people from slums in Budhawarapeta, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh every day.
Word about this program has spread, and people of Kurnool come forward to celebrate their children’s birthdays, marriage, wedding anniversaries or occasions with these destitute old persons by arranging special meals, or distributing stuff like clothes.

Many old people are Windows and widowers.Most of these people are poor & underprivileged and face many problems for their survival. The family System, Social values and Economic factors have been undergoing significant changes witch is not favorable to the Aged. The Aged are being neglected & humiliated. and some of them are starving and begging in the streets, Bus-Stands, Railway Stations, Market Places, etc. Throughout the country abandoned or killed. Some of the poor aged people spend their time in temples, verandas of community halls and church yards.
